Catching your Breath

Are you Breathing?

Really breathing? Or are you not able to due to anxiety and stress and the current World?

Is your breath rally shallow? Are you expanding your lungs? Are you unconsciously holding your breath? Are you inhaling too much air?Are you breathing in a way that optimizes how you perform?

Breath is Life!

If you have bad breathing habits you can have a negative effect on your overall health.



Some Risks when breathing incorrectly:


Your nervous system causes anxiety and stress

Increased muscle tension

Increasing blood pressure

Your brain receives less oxygen

dizziness and headaches

and so much more…and it is not good.

That is why learning how to breath the proper way is so important. Our body does not need to be in fight or flight


mode on a constant basis.

Practice deep breathing:


Take a deep breath into your chest – sigh out with an open mouth

Take a deep breath into your stomach – sigh out with an open mouth

Take a deep breath into your stomach and chest at the same time – sigh out with an open mouth

Next take a deep breath in for 7 seconds and hold for 5 seconds then exhale for 7 seconds and hold 5 seconds – repeat for 5 – 10 minutes

feel your body relaxing

If you have time to meditate right after that would be ideal

Thoughts may come just let them pass by like clouds in the sky.

If you feel dizzy or discomfort stop the deep breathing immediately.

If you are pregnant or have any health conditions please consult your doctor prior to practicing.
